Stella Cafe Ristorante — Restaurant in Prague

We passed by and walked in by coincidence. Never been there before. The food and atmosphere were far better than we expected. And far better than current average google review ! We had the mozzarella caprese toast as a starter and grilled pork neck and grilled salmon filet as main. Really good starter, simple but with delicate taste of balsamico. The two main... really good ! Although the chef seems to love meat more than fish....We both loved the slight spicy taste of the pork...Top! We'd say come over and give it a try....To give some background ...we ' re both "experienced" in eating out... and very very critical...

Lovely ribs served with horseradish, mustard and au jus... so glad to see they don't do the American style sickly sweet bbq sauce here. Burgers are fantastic. I ordered the double-cheese burger special, but owing to my lack of Czech i only got the single cheeseburger. I made sure they only charged me for a single (they did), but instantly the wait staff were apologetic and asked if i wanted the double and if so they would make it right away. Can't ask for a better response, and i let them know it was fine and it was my error....

Walked in from the street without knowing what to expect. We found a place where the burgers are terrible. The meat, medium done, was raw and cold in places, but full of black peppercorns. So chewy and spicy that my girlfriend could barely eat half of it. The onion was the only thing fresh. Both buns were just soft; not toasted, nor crisp. The service was ok though. The place seems good for beers, but I wouldn't dare to order food...
