🍷🍤 Mistro: Where South of Europe Flair Meets Culinary Excellence!
Picture this: an appetizer that sets the stage for a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. The seafood had me in a flavor trance – tender snapper that practically melted on my tongue, calamari and shrimp that danced with perfection, and a sweet finish that was as refined as a vintage wine. And speaking of wine, the pairings here are a breeze, elevating your experience to a whole new level.
My food-loving comrades! If you're anywhere near the Vršovice and you're a die-hard fan of lip-smacking food and top-notch service, let me put Mistro on your radar. This place might be a touch Italian, but let me tell you, it's like a flavor fiesta that your taste buds won't soon forget!
Now, let's talk service. It's like getting a warm, cozy hug from your favorite aunt – you feel cared for, important, and totally at ease. Oh, and don't even get me started on the fact that this place loves our furry pals just as much as we do – unobtrusive but visible care for our four-legged friends is a big win in my book!
Mark my words – Mistro is the quintessential neighborhood joint you've been dreaming of. From the exquisite dishes to the impeccable service, this place is a culinary adventure waiting to happen. Just thinking about it has my saliva doing the dance – We'll be back, and you should definitely...

I had the veal schnitzel Milanese with potato purée. Simple, really well prepared, and the purée had that buttery, homemade feel. Portion was on the smaller side, but with the quality and the price, it still felt like good value.
Menu and service were both in English, and the staff were genuinely friendly—not just polite. Everything about the experience felt relaxed and easy in the best way. Definitely a spot I’d go back to if I were in the...

The pros: Great ambiance, design, tasteful portions, attentive service.
The cons: There were two Czech gentlemen sitting at a table nearby, whereas we and them were the only guests remaining. These gentlemen talked to one another obnoxiously loudly, with bursts of even louder laughter in between. The personnel, instead of calming them a bit down in a friendly manner, joined them in discussing various football gossip and preferences. So, while I would have no complaints if such a behavior took place in a classic Czech Hospůdka pub, where it's natural, having this happen in a restaurant that aims to be fine dining and collects top pricing for the courses is all but acceptable, moreover so with the waiters playing along.
The potential is good, but we won't be coming back before manners...
