I had the most fantastic experience staying at Taurus Hotel. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service.
The hotel's ambiance was simply breathtaking. The interior design was modern and elegant, creating a soothing and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident throughout the entire property, making it a pleasure to explore and relax.
My room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed and luxurious linens ensured a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided were top-notch, and I appreciated the little touches that made my stay feel extra special.
The hotel staff was truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to cater to my needs and were always available to offer assistance or provide recommendations. Their professionalism and friendliness left a lasting impression on me. We had an issue with noisy neighbors next door to us and Anuar from the reception desk went and immediately sorted the issue with the noisy guests, he even went as far as moving us to a different room the next day to ensure we that we weren't disturbed any further. Can't speak highly enough of Anuars' professionalism and approach.
The dining experience at the hotel's restaurant was outstanding. The menu featured a diverse selection of dishes, each prepared with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The hotel's location was perfect, conveniently situated near major attractions and public transportation. I was able to explore the city easily and return to a comfortable retreat at the end of the day.
In summary, my stay at Hotel Taurus was absolutely incredible. I cannot praise the staff, amenities, and overall experience enough. If you're looking for a truly memorable and luxurious stay, I highly recommend this hotel. I can't wait to return!

Read moreNot for light sleepers! Rooms are small and everything happening in corridors is heard just as it would happen right in your room. Also our room was near the elevator and the elevator isn't really quiet either. In addition to hearing people talking, sneezing, moving their bags, laughing, etc while they wait for the elevator there also is satisfying thud of doors closing which sounds more like missile silo hatch than small elevator in a hotel.
Did I mention rooms are small? Everything in the hotel is small. The elevator is small. The breakfast room is small so in peak times you could end up waiting for a table or to get to the coffee machine.
The rooms are furnished in old times style which is kinda cool. Makes you think about living in a castle or something. Old furniture, really high beds. Cool and makes you forgive the old and rickety furniture. No complaints here.
There is a kettle in the room but our room had no outlets high enough to plug it it so we had to put it on the floor and use one of lightning outlets behind nightstand. Again, no complaints here, just a peculiarity.
If your room faces the street the views are pretty good but also there are trams. Windows were surprisingly good and street noises didn't bother much.
The breakfast is typical 3-4 star breakfast. Pretty good but nothing fancy. Good fruit selection, cold meat and cheese less so.
WiFi is slow at times. No connection drops but I wouldn't recommend it for heavy duty usage or relying on it for work. It is free though.
Hotel location is nice, 30 minutes walk to the city center (Museum) and mere minutes away from the subway. A couple supermarkets and eateries within 5-7 minutes of walking.
All in all I consider this hotel nice enough for me (especially when the price is discounted) but won't recommend it for...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were in Prague for the first time last week and we had the worst experience at this hotel... Starting with the toilet that was broken when we got there and the entire time we were there, there were holes in the curtains and we found a piece of the mirror in one of our bedside table drawers...
Apparently the doors were soundproof which is absolutely not true, we could hear when someone was just walking in the hallway. So when a group of people probably the same age as us on a school trip arrived, I couldn’t sleep for 3 nights- out of the 4 we were in Prague because of the infernal noise they were making..... When I brought this up with the receptionists, the woman at the reception pulled a bottle of prosecco and told me ‘maybe this will make you sleep 😉😉’ - was I just bribed by the receptionist? - obviously didn’t take the bottle.
The only thing that was okay about the stay was the breakfast, actually just the food as on one of the mornings I had to awkwardly walk around for more than 5 minutes with my food in my hand because there were no seats available as the room is so tiny. As the first time in Prague, I was tired 90% of the time because I had no sleep, and when the main activity was walking around and visiting the city that ruined the whole experience.
Absolutely do...
