Banken Foodhall offers a delightful experience with its vibrant atmosphere and diverse culinary options. The venue is spacious and cozy, providing a comfortable setting that isn't overly crowded. The food hall features a variety of street food stalls, including pizzas, Thai cuisine, burgers, salads, and sandwiches, ensuring there's something for everyone.
The central bar serves a good selection of drinks, complementing the great street food available. Prices are fair, making it an attractive option for those looking to enjoy quality food without breaking the bank. The vibe is lively, adding to the nice and engaging atmosphere.
Overall, Banken Foodhall is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a nice vibe, good food, and a cozy yet roomy environment. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a night out with friends, this food hall is...
Read moreI find it somewhat perturbing that most of the stalls here offer no chance to review them individually, but fine then - having sampled most of them repeatedly, my overall impression of the food is 'meh at best'. Mostly okay, if a bit overpriced, but nothing to write home about or go out of your way for. A few are just downright bad, serving food so bland that a bottle of tap water can wind up being the most flavorful part of the meal. In particular, avoid Craft Burger and Nögen on these grounds. Meanwhile, the POSITIVE stand-outs are the Italian place, Bello, and the seafood-joint 'Hooked' - particularly their vinegar fries. Avoid the fish'n'chips though - the fish is, once again, virtually flavourless.
The concept and atmosphere IS nice, but honestly, if you want that AND good food, you're in walking distance of Street Food, down by the...
Read moreWe went to the Mexican food bar called Zócalo, which had some really great lunch-offers! The food was very fulfilling and just the right amount of spicy. For the price, it was really amazing and left you full and energised in a nice way.
The food hall itself is really big, and it can get very loud sitting inside, so it's not the nicest place to sit in for a long time. However, they do have some options to sit in more closed-off areas where you can barely hear all the other people, so if you can find those spots, it's really cosy and the loudness won't be a problem. Overall, we're very excited to try the other food bars as Zócalo really put the bar high. Definitely a new go-to spot for a nice,...
