When we walked in, I noticed there were a bunch of business men eating then later we found out from a local, this was indeed their lunch spot. Not only that, I guess we stood out from the crowd, a local came up to us and asked us how we found this spot because only locals go here.

Guess we found what we were looking for! Traditional danish food! We got a tasting which came with 4 courses and we were sooo stuffed at the end. Ok - you want a real Danish lunch? If you're in Aarhus, you have to try this! I did the stjerneskud (traditional Danish fish plate). One of the two best of these I've ever eaten in DK. The cold smoked salmon and the freshly peeled shrimp added a perfect twist to a delicious traditional lunch. With more than 100 years of tradition serving the working men of Aarhus, the portions aren't exactly small. My 16 year old son ordered the beef sandwich with gravy.
