Very kind and helpful staff, we walked in and the waiter immediately grabbed a high chair for our baby without having to even ask for it.
Our baby likes to grab all the attention and she got all the attention here she needed haha. They were very kind to her, also to us but for us it's very nice to have dinner at a place where they are child friendly.
They brought the food that we ordered for our baby when our starters where brought to the table and this is just proof that the staff is helpful and thoughtful. Every parent knows the hassle with dinner and kids. This way our daughter could eat at her own pace without having to wait until we finished our starters.
The starters were very good, the burrata was absolutely amazing. The pizza was by far the best pizza we had in Denmark but if you're used to real authentic Italian pizza's you will find them okayish. But to be honest, the Danish aren't the best in pizza's (sorry to the Danish people but I will die on this hill) and like I said above this will be the best pizza you can probably get in the whole of Denmark.
I was expecting to be waiting for a long time because of some reviews I read beforehand but this was not the case at all. They were fast with the drinks and food, asking if everything was okay during eating (which is apparently rare in Denmark) and from the looks of it a nice team that has fun with each other which gave a good vibe.
The menu had enough choices and also a child menu which was more...
Read moreWe dined at La Fiamma Ristorante in Billund and were pleased to find ample free parking in their backyard, a convenient feature. The restaurant itself was clean, cozy, and welcoming, with a thoughtful touch: cutlery was placed on napkins rather than directly on the table, a hygienic practice we rarely see in Copenhagen restaurants. The two waiters we interacted with were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a significant delay. After waiting over 30 minutes, we noticed that other tables, seated after us, received their food first. When we inquired, the staff apologized, explaining that a system error had caused them to overlook our order. They offered complimentary drinks as compensation, which was a kind gesture. We had ordered two pizzas with Pepsi and water. The pizzas arrived with a well-baked dough base, and the cheese was delicious, clearly high-quality and flavorful. However, the pepperoni pizza was excessively oily, which detracted from the experience. Overall, La Fiamma Ristorante is worth visiting for its cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable pizza prices, provided they address their order management issues. With better attention to order fulfillment, this could be a standout...
Read moreCame here seeing the great reviews and wanting a break from LEGO House. Sad to say this was the only pizza we remember our 9yearold rejecting (too soggy and lacking cheese), my clam pasta had amazing flavor.. but also smaller pieces of broken shells 🥶, and finally sad and embarrassing to report they refuse to offer Danish tap water, but in 2025 only sell water in bottles. We took beer/wine/etc “playing along” and on holiday-whatever mode, and then my beer was more warm than cold😝. Every small indy restaurant, especially in small town tourist destinations deserves success, but these folks would need to adjust some basics to deserve the 4.5 rating they currently have. 3.5-4 is what I’d expect given the food/prices/experience ratio. Oh, and offer to the owners: I’ll happily add +4 stars if you’ll add regular water as an option;)...
