Takii — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Really not a place to recommend. We had booked a table for 19:00, we went in and got seated. Then nothing happened.

We waited 20 minutes, without even receiving a menu card or anything. After 20 minutes a waiter came and asked if we had been serviced where we answered no, and then we waited another 10 minutes and still nothing happened. No menu card, no drink order had been taken, it was almost like the waiters purposely avoided eye contact.

We could also overhear people asking about the food they had ordered but seemingly it was forgotten by the staff, that didn’t seem promising either.

After the 30 minutes of zero service we decided to leave, since you know we were hungry and we found a better place.

But instead of just writing a bad review, I have some recommendations to make the service better.

1- when seating someone immediately bring them a menu card or tablet, so the people who have been seated can at least look at some drinks.

2- around 5 minutes after you seat someone ask them for drinks or if everything is alright

3- if you see a table that hasn’t been serviced yet, then even if you’re not a waiter let the waiter on the floor know so the waiter can service them

4- Stay professional even if guests end up leaving after not being serviced, don’t make it obvious that your displeased with it, since it could easily have been avoided

5- just be more serviceminded, since I’m sure the food is great, but the service of the place is...

ook my partner out for lunch, and this was the only decent-looking place near his workplace. Fairly quick service, which was nice, and very decent value for money - especially if you have a decent appetite. Personally I found the sushi selection a tiny bit questionable (mainly 'california roll' style american/continental things containing stuff like avocado and so on - nothing wrong with any of this, mind you, its just not the kind of sushi I prefer.), but the sides were really good - I especially liked the sesame balls. Sushi is quite tasty and comes rather fast. We went for all you can eat which is also well priced compared to other places. It's quite easy to order since you get a tablet and you can at anytime order something without having to wait for a waiter to pass by.

I'm cutting one star because the service was somewhat poor. The plates and bottles were almost slammed on the table rather than placed and it didn't make us feed welcomed. Also, 2 times we were served plates that someone else had ordered.
