I’ve been in Copenhagen for almost a month and I was really not expecting this to be one of the best meals I’ve had here, but it was.
The man behind the counter was incredibly nice and helpful. Seriously one of the most delightful people I’ve met in CPH
I ordered a half chicken meal that came with a red cabbage salad, rice, fresh durum bread and a can of soda. Everything was good but the chicken was fantastic. Roasted perfectly with a crisp skin and moist meat it was delicious. All for about 115 DKK. Which cheaper than I would be able to get a similar meal at home in the states. Very genuine and friendly service, delish and fresh food, great size and price and clean restaurant with many seating options inside and out.
The only less good thing was that I saw a worker drop the foil (that you wrap the durums in) on the floor and pick it up. He ripped a bit off and I thought he would scrunch it up...but no...he put the next orders bread on it. Whilst we might do this at home...you can't afford to do that in a restaurant!!
Otherwise everything was great. Interesting selection of drinks and also a coffee machine.
Funny to also see an old days scale as you enter...just if you want to see how many kilos of food...
