Tap Del Bar — Restaurant in Herning Municipality

First of all, the food was very good. However, the pricing is very predatory. We ordered a Tapas set for 500 kr, which says it is for minimum 2 people. I assumed it meant the set was so big you need at least 2 people to eat it. However, what it really means is that they order at least 2 copies, so you pay double the price stated on the menu. I only found out when it was time for the bill.

Edit: I have seen the menu again, and it is indeed visible that the prices are per person. However, I think it could be made a little clearer in the future

The atmosphere is okay, however we were assigned a table right next to the bathroom, even though the restaurant was almost empty at the time. The door is hidden behind a mirror, so we didnt realize it until later. Whenever someone wanted to use it, he had to squeeze by our chair. I dont know why they assigned us this table, even as there were other empty ones available.

It is a good restaurant, but its a bad experience for newcomers, who dont know what to expect and I do not recommend it. I would have expected a much better experience...

We've been to Tapas Del Bar 7+ times now and every time has been a pleasure. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, while the atmosphere is relaxing. Expect to spend a bit more than some other places, but it'll be more than worth it, especially if you're the type of person who'd maybe like to try something new. Also keep in mind that this restaurant is in the main street and the rent is absurdly high, so it's a great way to support something local and different.

Both the presentation and taste of every dish I've tried so far have been, at the very least, fairly good and up to the point of making me awestruck.

I can ALWAYS recommend trying out both the Spanish meatballs and the Calamares. Keep in mind that they have a 'Black board' menu, which changes at times, it should be a small menu at the table.

AWESOME WINES I dropped by an afternoon for a glass of wine and a snack. It was sunny and fairly warm (For a day in APR 2025 in Denmark), so I chose an outside table The waitress was polite and professional - but could be a bit more attentive to the customers outside. They have a nice selection of wines here - including wine per glass. Delicious. And they have a mouthwatering selection of tapas. I tried the sourdough bread with olive oil and the mini burger. Very nice dishes - both of them. I can only imagine how nice and delicious a dinner here would be. Definitely a place to go...
