To celebrate 5 years of being engaged. Me and my fiance went out for a five course meal and it was way above expectations.
Amuse Bouche: Puff pastry cup with smoked haddock and homemade mayo. Mini Pie with salmon tartare with smashed peas and malt 'soil'.
First course: Trout mousse with sweetened Danish smoked cheese creme and trout in 'tigermilk' (apparently a Peruvian curing marinade for fish). (Came with their homemade bread with flour they mill and grind themselves! And their homemade hummus)
2nd course: Baked Cod with a sauce made from lobster, turbot and champagne with sturgeon caviar from Denmarks one and only sturgeon farm. Along with fermented white asparagus.
3rd course: Beer battered chicken from a local farm with a barbecue sauce from local apples, smoked bone marrow and baked tomato.
4th course: Seared and roasted veal brisket with sauce made from the roasting liquids, fresh, steamed peas, pickled red onion, sea nettle and potatoes poached in clarified butter.
