Very sad! It was a complete rip off. We paid 105 DKK (apr. €15) for each main course that was extremely small (even smaller than kid's portions, maybe 4 bites in total) with just some poor salads, rice/noodles, some herbs and dressing, and some sweet Japanese tofu - which is indeed not authentic Vietnamese. Definitely can't justify the value. We were too put off to even take some pictures. We wondered why it took them so long to put together those poor cold dishes, the boxes were literally messy with noodles sticking around outside. Bubble tea was basically a sugarly soda. I was excited to see a restaurant with an actual beautiful Vietnamese name "Xin Chào", but we were left very disappointedly about the food that was not real Vietnamese indeed. Being a Vietnamese, I'm really not proud that these are being introduced to the world. Please do better if you claim to represent the Vietnamese name and cuisine under your roof!

Hi Jens Dao, I appreciate your effort in checking with your staff and contacting the other restaurant. However, I can't understand by which way you could be sure that I didn't visit your restaurant but the other one instead, while you didn't even know when I visited? My boyfriend and I, we didn't visit any malls. We are 100% sure that we visited Xin Chào on the walking street near Koldinghus. I of course made sure that I wrote review to the right place, also by looking at all the pictures of the restaurant here. I wouldn't have taken my time and effort to go through this and write the review, if it wasn't that vividly unbearably disappointing. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of your food or the receipt (didn't prepare to be let down). But we are sure to order 2 dishes bún thịt nướng, cơm sườn (number 8 & 9), both with tofu, and 1 bubble tea from your menu. If we have to "verify" ourselves further, we visited you on May 26, 2021, in the evening, takeaways under order named 'Morten'. If it means a lot to you and your business, I'm willing to consider to take down my review, knowing that you have received it with appreciation for improvement. But I don't think, your responding by confirming that I put the review to the wrong place, while it's actually correctly done, is the right way to...
Read moreGood Asian food in Kolding that is something else than Sushi? Yes please. You don't get a big variety of choices in menu but you really don't need it. Food is delicious, with decent prices, and atmosphere inside is cosy. Please go there and eat - it HAS TO stay in business - we don't have that many...
