Flavor Market — Restaurant in Higüey

The biggest complaint for me is the service. My wife and I walked in and were immediately seated due to there being only 3 other tables with patrons. We sat down, and 3 waiters looked at us, but no one acknowledged us nor came to our table. It was about 5-8 minutes after being seated that we were given water. The server took our drink order and proceeded to go to one of the other tables to check on them. He took a drink order from them( after ours was placed) and came back with their drink first. It's about 30 minutes now, and no other server has come to us to take our food order. Again, there's only 3 other tables and they all have good and drinks. I had to wave to the hostess to get anyone's attention to order food. Mind you, the staff all made eye contact with us multiple times before then. Once she came over, our waiter finally came. But before, he passed us to check on another table. Again. After we ordered apps, he brought out the wrong thing. At about 45 minutes in, we're the only table with no food, and no one checked on us. They constantly walked by us to check on the other tables that had already had their food for a while. A couple came in after we had been seated for over 45 minutes, and they received food before we did. Needless to say, I will not be eating here ever again. 2/10 do not...

Amazing Spanish cuisine! This is the only restaurant that serves small portions which is great to try a little of everything on the menu.

The octopus was out of this world!! One of the best I've had. The paella and the mussels were amazing too!

This is one of the best restaurants at this Resort. Would 1000% recommend everyone to try the food here.

So the food was amazing, tapas, lots of flavors, and everything was tasty. It was a bit odd in that we ordered the first round then instead of ordering more food, they just kept bringing out random dishes (granted they were all good) instead of ordering specific items. The sangria and mojitos' pair nicely, it's only open a few nights a week so I'd show up early, it filled up pretty good after...
