“Free round” that was included with stay at local resort. Rented clubs for one person and paid for cart for 1 person with one rider. After that and buying a couple balls and a glove, came out to $160. In the states I wouldn’t pay $50 for a course in this shape. It was nice enough with some nice grass and trees but the greens were rough and sand traps and other features were very lacking. Paid a good amount to rent taylormade clubs. They were several generations old with several dents and paint chips. I made this known to the gentleman handing out the rental clubs and he scoffed and reluctantly replaced a couple of the clubs in the set with others that were just a dented and worn. The club rental fee should be criminal for the condition they were in. Also did not include a lob wedge or hybrid fyi. We also received an included sandwich at the turn. The only option was ham and cheese and they offered no alternative despite us telling them one of us doesn’t consume ham. It was dry sliced bread with one thin slice of cheese and one thin slice of ham. No condiments. I think they tell you there’s a sandwich included to make it sound like more than it really is. If you have a free round and you have your own clubs, this course isn’t bad; I would stray away from paying anything more than $50...
Read moreI played this Nick Price layout for the local mini tour event during back to back days. Here is a scratch golfer's perspective:
Pros +Layout, thoughtfully designed. +Greens, the greens roll true moreso than many other higher priced courses in the PC area (I would say only Punta Espada has better greens for putters). They hold their line and have consistent speed. The greenskeeper obviously knows what he is doing.
+Fairways are lush. Rough is consistent in cut length. +Brand new carts as of 2025. +I understand the green fees are sub 70$, this is well worth it, bang for your buck.
Cons -Don't expect a full size driving range. It is short, you cant hit driver. -The restaurant isn't great, bring your own snacks and beverages. -We played after a rain delay and the bunkers became rock hard. They definitely need more sand, which is a shame because of the great design you might land shortsided green side in a bunker (at least for a tournament set up), this cost a few strokes. For a practice round this is less of a concern.
Overall this is a fun course, with great value to spend a half day during your PC getaway! Well done peeps at...
Read moreThe Golf Course is great. However the concerning part is the lack of transparency from the staff and their policy, communication and rates.
To keep it short I will just keep it in bullet form:
Booked through Golf Now App.
Failed to mention that their would be a $10 pick-up fee that is not covered by the GolfNow and to pay the front desk and not the taxi driver.
Read the policy that if you want to add a rider to the cart it would be $25. I understood that before booking and was willing to pay for my son to join.
Failed to mention that there was NO CHILD Policy on the golf course! They claimed him as a safety concern. When asked why this wasn't mentioned on their website anywhere, their excuse was that it was too much verbiage to put on the site (Sounds Fishy). I've golfed with my son pretty much everywhere and this is new. In the end he had to be shuttled back to the resort as they wouldn't let him on the course.
Very tough to grow the game of Golf in the Dominican with a course like this...
