D' Milagros Sazón — Restaurant in Samana

A local person recommended this restaurant because we were looking for some traditional local food for a quick yet authentic lunch. We were so happy with this place. It's basic and there were plenty of locals enjoying their lunch hour here. The server was very sweet, the meal was tasty and filling, and it was clean and inviting. The prices were very reasonable and we would definitely stop in again if we are ever lucky enough to visit this area someday....

This small, cozy restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food 🥘 is delicious overall, with the fish made with coconut 🥥 standing out as especially tasty 🤤. The moro de gandules is also a highlight—rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. However, I recommend staying away from the tamarind juice 🥤, as it didn’t taste good and was quite disappointing. Aside from that, it’s a great place to enjoy flavorful dishes in a relaxed setting.
