Kukaramacara Country Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Santiago de los Caballeros

I wasn't really pleased with the food or service here. The servers were a bit rude. They weren't as accommodating as I thought they would be. I've only been here once and honestly wouldnt come back here for food or drinks.

My mother asked for a margarita and it was just a cup full of salt. We asked the waiter if he could get the drink fixed because it wasn't prepped correctly. Then he bring it back and it just tasted even worse. We then asked him to take the margarita because it was just bad. We realized they charged us for it when we had asked for the drink to be returned. So I asked to speak to the manager. He told me that they had to charge us for the drink, because we asked for it but it wasnt their fault that the drink wasnt to our standards. I have Never been charged for any food or drinks that were not made to our standards or liking.

I asked the waiter to sing happy birthday to my mother and bring a piece of cake about 10 times. They waited until I paid our bill to then charge my mother the birthday girl who was supposed to be surprised with the cake I asked for while I was in the bathroom. Couldnt have been more of the worst surprise ever.

I mean they definitely surprised her with the cake, a shot and a bill. When I was the one who clearly paid for the bill.

It wasnt that busy either. We also requested the sports channel which they said they had before we even decided to eat here, And they werent able to find it.

All the other restaurants and bars were playing the yankee game at the time. We ordered so much food but I've had better. The only thing that was good was the salad.

This is a restaurant that is right across the street from the monument in Santiago De Los Caballeros. It looks nice it's decorated with a cowboy theme. It has nice clean bathrooms and a play area for babies.

Overall it's a well decorated restaurant. But if you let the decorations fool you into thinking the food is good you'll be stuck with a big bill and unsatisfied belly. The service could be so much better. And the food could use more flavor. It's so sad when I restaurant lacks flavor in their food, and their servers are rude.

I wish I could reccomend this restaurant but I wouldn't even try it again. It's too pricey for how poor their service and food is.They surely convinced me not to try it again or bring my friends and family here when I bring them to visit...

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Santiago, been coming here for years while on vacation, food greats, awesome view of the monument, and nice décor. My last two times there, the service wasn't great in the kitchen, food took over a hour to come out, and place wasn't packed, found out we were not the only table who waited over a hour and a half for our food, asked the waitress what's the hold up, she said it will be right out, just keep ordering more drinks, I wasn't amused, my party of 4 decided to leave, pay for the drinks and go to another spot nearby, as i we went downstairs, asked for my drink tab, was informed that the food was ready, just one plate was ready, not the 4 orders, I said no, thank you, its been a hour and a half ,all dishes should have been ready, I paid for the drinks only and walked out the restaurant, the drink tab was a little inflated, but we didn't care, just wanted to eat, as we are leaving, the parking attendant asked what was wrong, in short, told him his service was the best and we headed to...

I ordered lamb chops, the menu had a price of $1300 pesos but when I ordered the waiter said the menu price is incorrect and the real price for the lamb chops was $2800 pesos. I asked why does the menu show a different price and he said the menu isn’t accurate. Also when I received the bill I asked if tip was included and they said no which I paid also, later that day a friend of mine who recommended the restaurant told me the tip is included and that they lied to me. They knew I’m not from DR and hustled me. The food was delicious but the dishonesty is the reason why I will never step foot in that restaurant again.
