I have come to this restaurant various times over the years. I am pretty much low key and keep to my self and just enjoy my meal and leave. I had given this place 5 stars but as you can see that has dropped down to 1.
I went to dinner yesterday December 18th showed up around 6pm me and my two guest were craving paella and they make a great one here, we were seated and never spoken to again by staff. After about 15 minutes I got up walked to where the staff keeps the menus and got the menus. My guest who by the way is a diplomat got up a few minutes after I got the menu to get a waiter and she didn’t find anyone who could help. We just got up and left. To make matters worst the valet gave us the keys to someone else’s car and told me it was parked on the corner. I let him know it wasn’t my car even though it was way nicer.
After around 5 minutes waiting for the valet to find my car I walked back into the restaurant to use the rest room. Our empty table still had the menus we got on the table.
Restaurant wasn’t even that full.
A lot has changed at this restaurant I remember when I first came here 5 years ago and my guest remember when she use to come daily 15 years ago.
After saying I’d come again which I did, and have multiple times. I won’t be coming again. We ended up going to Vizcaya their paella was excellent.

Read moreThis was the restaurant that I most enjoyed during my recent visit to the Dominican Republic. We were a party of five and we ordered many different things; everybody complimented food quality. The ambiance is comfortable: decent lighting; comfortable chairs; reasonable table spacing. The menu is extensive and the wine list offers more choices than most in the DR. All prices were reasonable for the quality delivered. The service was European: not effusively friendly but extremely proficient (i.e. just the way I like it). Remember that you won't get your check until you ask for it (i.e. it's considered good service, not bad service) and waiters receive almost nothing of the 10% service charge (i.e. "ley") added to the check. If you like your service, add a 10% to 15% "propina", in cash...
Read moreNo wonder this restaurant, after so many years, is still there. Through the years, the menu has grown in variety, and so have the dinning areas. The free parking lot is bigger now, to accommodate the constant flow of guests. They offer a great amount of international dishes, but the sensational seafood is what made them famous in the first place, I dare to say. What I like most is that this is the kind of restaurant that, no matter how famous it becomes for something, won't neglect the quality of the recipes, nor will fail to update the...
