Terraza Foodtruck Park — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

A little too loud for my taste, but not a deal breaker. However, I ordered a burger and it was really bad. The meat was rotten. I took a bite out of it and had to spit it out. I thought it was me, so I asked my sister to try it, same outcome. It smelled horrible, and the bread was cold and limp. They did change it, but I still could not eat it. Cheese was low quality, the meat was still questionable and again, that awe full cold, limp bread. I also ordered a piña colada…not good. Very liquidity and too sweet. I still gave it 3 stars because the service was good. The waitress was really nice, and they did try to make it right. Also, my sister ordered the fried fish Boca Chica style, and it was delicious, even though the tostones were raw inside. I would say if you’re going for drinks and something other than burgers, give it a try. But if you want a good burger, go to the food truck park in Nuñez de Caceres. This place took me by surprise. My friends and I went to this place expecting a food truck and it was just a regular restaurant with valet parking that just parks it a bit further down the streets which is completely unnecessary. The food was bland to say the least, but perhaps the worst part about this experience is that they overcharged us for our drinks by 500 pesos, which was a mistake that the waitress made and refuse to fix because “that’s the way it is”, horrible attitude. When the manager showed up he tried to intimidate us into paying it because “it was difficult to do so”. After a long negotiation he agreed to take out the extra charge. Food was ok. I don’t particularly like cold meat and I order an all meat plate that cost me $900 pesos and I thought it was a joke when they brought it out. My wife said her food had no flavor. To top it all up, we ordered margaritas and they had no tekila at all. The only alcohol it had was the beer they put on top of it(picture included) they charged $295 pesos for a nip of fireball 🤦‍♂️ the servers acted like they hated you and always gave you attitude.
