My wife, children, in-laws, and I tracked this place down. It was advertised as a 24-hour restaurant, cafe, and shisha bar, and it was attached to a 5-star hotel (Golden View). We arrived around midnight and ordered cheese samosas for an appetizer, a pepperoni pizza, penne alfredo with chicken, and breaded chicken and fries for my three-year-old.
We waited for a server for over 15 minutes which isn't necessarily a bad sign. It could mean the restaurant is busy. Three servers passing us by later, and we were finally granted the opportunity to order. The culinary culture in Egyptian restaurants is to serve all the dishes in one go, no matter if it is an entree or an appetizer. My wife asked the server to bring whatever was ready first so as not to eat lukewarm or cold food at the worst. Regardless, the cheese samosas, pizza, and pasta arrived, and they were barely even warm. We called the server over and told him the food isn't hot. He took the food and had the kitchen staff make us new food. The food that arrived the second time was only marginally more warm.
The pizza, if you could call it that, was your typical bread with some semblance of tomato sauce covered with questionable cheese. The pasta was not terrible and the alfredo sauce was glazed over but acceptable. The chicken in the pasta dish was alright as well. I believe the chef responsible for the dish was allergic to seasoning because I had to almost drown the dish in salt and pepper. The kid's meal...oh my goodness. How do you mess up fries and breaded chicken?! The fries were definitely the frozen type and unsalted. The breaded chicken never stuck to its breaded seasoning. It literally fell off of its breadcrumbs to reveal, unsurprisingly, unseasoned dark meat. I did not expect an Italian Bistro level of quality from a hotel restaurant. I did expect seasoned food at the very least or hot food if that isn't too much to ask. I asked for a can of diet Pepsi that never came. I asked another server who promptly shelved me off to another server who told me he will be right back. Apparently 'right back' means 'never' at this 'restaurant'.
Why did we not raise this issue with Management, you may ask? We did! We called for the manager and explained the entire situation. He apologized profusely for the unprofessionalism from his staff and told us he will rectify the situation. His staff then ignored us for the rest of the night. Terrible service and...

Lovely view Elegant design and entrance
Staff are professional and lovely. The waitress named Aya was really smiling all the time. She was helpful 👌.
The outdoor hall is elegant and overlooking the beach but it was really sunny and hot 🥵. I think it will be nice on spring or autumn but in summer it is unbearable.
The indoor section is very cozy. The AC is really relieving the hot weather. The service is fast. Breakfast menu is limited but delicious. Drinks are very well prepared and chilling 👌.
The omelette were perfectly cooked and side dishes tasted good. I suggest adding some healthy breakfast choices as brown toast and oats.
I liked the place and I think i will visit...
Read moreThe place is so nice and elegant with huge space and many different tables, outdoor and indoor. It’s suitable for work dinners and dates.
People who work there are professional and organized.
They have a big menu but with the usual stuff nothing special. The food is good. We ordered pizza, sticks and Pasta. The drinks are okay, my orange juice came warm.
They DON’t have VEGETARIAN OPTIONS.
The prices are EXPENSIVE for the food quality and quantity. They add way TOO MUCH tax and service.
In my opinion, the place is overrated. as the only special thing about it is its open view over the sea. You can get the same view in cheaper places. But it’s...
