3alrakia Café & Lounge — Restaurant in Alexandria

When they first opened service was outstanding and that’s what made us come back. The female server was disrespectful the last two times we went. We shouldn’t feel uncomfortable when we are going out to eat and we shouldn’t sit on a dirty table and have to ask for it to be cleaned. When we first arrived we waited for a couch opening and waited. The hookah attendant came and asked us if we want hookah in front of the female server and we said no. She then came and asked us again if we want hookah we advised her we just said no. When I asked the female server to not put the food settings on the couch table once we moved because it was dirty she insisted and still put them down. She called another server to wipe the table and we asked him not to be served by her and to get us clean settings. She then said in Arabic do you have a problem with my service. I asked her to not speak or look at us. Her attitude is uncalled for whatsoever. She then called a manager and spoke to him and sent him to our table. Even after asking the manager to not be served by her she continued to come to our table and give us dirty looks standing in front of the ac. Firstly the place was in a good spot and thats the only nice thing i could say As our table had literally no privacy and we disapproved sitting there they promised us to give us another table as soon as someone gets off , we ended up asking them 3 times to change our spot with no answer at all. The place is too noisy and heavily filled with smoke from all the shisha. You should only go there if you're a smoker and also like your food to taste like nicotine. I went there with my fiance for our anniversary and one of the staff members was intrusive. At first he kept staring at us, then he rudely asked me to get my head off my fiance's shoulder because apparently it goes against the great values that this place stands for (like giving people access to lung cancer). They later apologized when we were about to get up and leave. We sat down and had the food because we had already ordered. It has a nice view (which is easily found elsewhere in Alex).
