I Got a suite with the family,the first suite had a gap between the sliding doors top and the wall there was a and inch gap and the wind was blowing through it and the bath room window was broken and open and we could feel the wind currant, I called to complain so they sent me a handy man with a small tool box ,it got me so angry that they didn't know the damage extent ,so I went down with the handy man to management and he explained that there is no fast fix to the problem they gave me a choice between 2 suites and I chose the least worst of the 2 ended up freezing me and the wife and the kids ,wife complained about a.c. heater not working they sent us a three bulb heater was like using a lighter to keep a car warm, worst hotel experience I've had ,wife woke up with a stiff neck from stone pillows.i really feel sorry for the staff ,they where nice and polite. We booked for 2 day and we couldn't spend another night there so we left 4:30 pm the next day cutting our trip short. P.s. Never take the breakfast...
Read moreThis hotel is right across the street from the Mediterranean Sea and has gorgeous views of the water, but the street in front of the hotel is very busy 24 hours a day with lots of car horns constantly honking. Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The AC does not work which is fine in the morning and at night when the temperature drops, but in the daytime it stayed around 81F and was not comfortable. There is major construction going on the 15th floor so don't stay on the 14th floor because you will hear everything very loudly. The shower was very difficult to operate and regulate the temperature and would fluctuate between burning hot and cold frequently. The food in the restaurant is good and they give large portions but there is no menu available to look at. I thought that was pretty weird. Read moreLet me start by reminding you this is a 3 stars hotel, it offers magnificent views of the Mediterranean sea and the rooms spacious with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. You will not find the spa white sheet and bathroom here. Staff is friendly and even tough very few spoke any decent English, or any other language for that matter, howrver I was able to decently communicate with staff through signs and basic words - like to get some laundry done and ironed - housekeeping understood me well. Tip: if you really want a coffee inthe morning and not nescafe ask for an expresso, it will cost you EGP26.00 per shot with milk (about 2 dollars), but for me it is what I need.
