929 Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Cairo

The worst attitude from the staff and when I say staff I mean all 5 that I saw. It honestly takes a person that has 000,000 standard in food or coffee to ever go back there again.(as I see many ppl here are easily impressed and that's due to lack of exposure ). Who ever owns this place should take better care in who they consider to hire as they are obviously clueless about the staff and as a business owner you should take better care in general and not just about how much money you are making at the end of the month. Plz keep in mind if your cafe had opened anywhere else you will surely fail because your 0 attention to anything is sad. A cafe is more than just design (witch is bare minimum BTW) We walk in ask about the coffee menu only to have an oblivious person that's probably not even 20 years old standing as if he has no clue in life or why he is even working there. Not to mention the staff hygiene is somewhere between 1and - 1.

Take better care of your business or don't bother opening. If you want fantastic coffee and a nice smiley staff who actually want to give you the time of day I recommend going to Cai.Brew (10/10) and they might even teach 929 a thing or two about costumer service and...

A gem in Heliopolis. What’s good about this place:

1- All the staff is properly masked in 2023! Reminding us of an interminable pandemic and the nonchalance of humankind. 2- THEIR PISTACHIO LATTÉ SLAPS. They use actual pistachio paste, no artificial sweeteners, no syrups or that NewCairo gentrified bs. 3-The woodwork in the second floor is very pretty. 4- Did I mention they make the best pistachio latté? 5- It feels like a beehive, everyone is working very efficiently. A line of 20 customers will take 15 mins to be served.

What’s not so good about this place:

1- The pistachio croissant was meh. Selling for a whooping 85EGP, at least twice as much as it’s European counter. And a little to no filling, the freshness of the dough was it’s saving grace but wouldn’t buy again. 2- The interiors are not productive friendly, not suitable...

Highly recommend. Although a bit pricy, it has to be one of the best coffee shops in Cairo. We went during the weekend and the place was packed however everything was clean from the floors to the tables. The service was very fast and efficient and the baristas were very helpful. I wanted to order my sister something for takeout and asked them if they could seal it tightly instead with no extra fees they put it in a can for me to ensure no leakage happens during my drive back home. We ordered a mocha and an ice vanilla matcha latte to have at the caffe and both drinks were excellent. The coffee had an amazing smell and flavor and the matcha was good.
