Good afternoon . Yesterday my friends and I headed to Garcia to enjoy lunch. Upon arrival we asked for a place to accommodate ourselves ( we were approximately 13 people ) . They told us that there was space on the terrace and we went there. After 15 min the sun was extremely strong so we kindly asked if they could open the umbrellas. The very rude waiter told us no, that the umbrellas were simply not going to help much. Then I ask him if there was space on the second floor for us (since we had children and it was very hot) the waiter got angry again and told me no... that was the only space available for us. At that moment my blood was already boiling. I was being treated as if the food/service was free and I had no right to demand anything. So as not to look bad with my guests we continued in the restaurant and when we decided to order the food (which we almost had to beg them to serve us lunch (because according to them they don't serve it until 2) it was 1 pm. the waiter, again he was annoyed because two of my friends were going to share a plate to which I (obviously already annoyed) asked him if there was a minimum consumption. After 1 hour and 35 minutes the first plate arrived. And that's how they came from 1 on 1 until full order completed , the food was super mediocre , no flavor whatsoever .One of my friend ordered pasta and it was cold and tasteless . The white sauce was just milk with no seasoning . Other friend ordered some fajitas and it was a show (it had no flavor, the vegetables were burnt, the rice was super spicy, the tortillas looked like plastic. Another ordered a margarita pizza and honestly the frozen pizzas tasted much better. Anyway, the food was one of the worst I've ever had throughout Egypt, probbaly the taste of the food and the costumer service of the place went for a walk yesterday… because really it was nowhere...
Read moreI was there on August 8, 2025, at around 7 PM. The shift manager was extremely rude. I had ordered drinks for myself and the person I was with, and the waiter said okay and that he would bring the order. Later, I called the waiter again because I had brought a mini tart to celebrate the person’s birthday, and I asked him to serve it on a plate with whatever service or charge they preferred – just like in any other place.
The waiter asked the shift manager, and he came over and said, “No, sorry, we can’t do that.” Then the waiter told me we had to order at least two desserts along with the drinks. I told him, “You had already taken my order a while ago, and you didn’t ask about dessert until I requested that you serve the tart. Also, I always come here to work and sit – it’s the first time anyone has asked me for such a thing. This isn’t my first time here.” He replied, “This is the policy.” I told him, “I was just here two days ago with someone, and we each ordered a drink and left without an issue.” He apologized. Anyway, I just told him, “Thanks, but I’ll leave,” and we actually left.
Honestly, the shift manager was incredibly rude and completely unprofessional. The waiter was kind – he was just following orders. Even when the waiter asked the manager if we could serve the tart, the manager refused and spoke loudly enough that I could hear him from where I was sitting.
Note: I’m not against the minimum charge – I’m just against being forced to order something you don’t want. I even offered to pay the service fee or any amount they wanted just to serve a...
Read moreWe went during Ramadan to eat their, we ordered in advance, and we couldn't reserve a table in the rooftop because it's the system during Ramadan, the food came really late, and it was really cold and they serve us a rice different than what we ordered, also the chicken was really hard to cut and eating it was really a hard thing to do. The food looked great but it tasted really bad.
It's a good place to have a drink but it's not a good restaurant. And absolutely it's not a place to go during special holidays. .. 10/10 updated review So the atmosphere in general and the view at the roof is really great! Especially those days since the weather is becoming colder. Also the service was good, but comparing to the prices the quality of the food doesn't match the price! We ordered an Alfredo pizza and it wasn't good! I really don't recommend. The Pesto pasta was eatable! But wasn't that great. And the Quinoa salad wasn't what I expected! It wasn't fresh ant it tasted just like a normal salad without dressing. If you're looking for a place to have a quick drink it'll the perfect place for you, but don't put high expectations...
