El Menoufy El Kababgy - Kamel El Menoufy Tagamoa Branch — Restaurant in Cairo

One of the best restaurants that serves Egyptian food in Cairo. Everything is tasty. It’s been my first go to spot as soon as I arrive in Egypt. Kofta is really delicious and well made and full of beef/lamb meat with less fats. All the menu is amazing and they have an eclectic taste of food with a wide variety of grilled food. Very authentic and well served food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Try to be there a bit earlier than your desired time so that you can get a nice table. The downstairs level is my favourite.

Totally unprofessional people Me and my family went for a dinner and we booked 2 tables one for the family and another for the driver I made the order to the driver after he had set to a table and told the waiter it will be one invoice to be paid by me!

After we finished, I found that they were forcing the driver to change the table and join us to the upper level, he refused, they didn’t serve him the order, he went out and I knew the story later after we finished cause I found his order isn’t included in the invoice!

When we talked to the supervisor, what he did he just apologized like I’m telling him a joke!!!!

If there was a rating of less than 1 star I would have chosen that. Everything was horrible. Food ... atmosphere and service. The restaurant is very old and untidy ... not clean and the service plates was made of melamine. The food took nearly 45 min to 1 hour to arrive and when arrived the food was cold and we asked to re-heat it . The taste of food is another story.. was awful and oily.. The kebab is served on a plate full of parsley with nothing on the side. The stuffed peigon is same thing it was served with nothing on the side . We asked for bread and they even charged us for the bread Enough I don't want to say more than that ......
