Take N' Bake Pizzeria - Degla Maadi Branch — Restaurant in Cairo

During my recent visit, I was met with a rather disappointing dining experience. The pizzas, which are often the centerpiece of any Italian eatery, were unfortunately tasteless. The lack of seasoning was evident, leaving much to be desired in terms of flavor. Similarly, the burger did not fare any better. It was not nice, and like the pizzas, it suffered from a lack of proper seasoning, making for a bland meal.

Moreover, the pricing did not align with the quality of the food served. A simple bottle of water was priced at 30 EGP, which is steep by any standard, the burger was around 200 EGP and each pizza was like 250 EGP. The final bill amounted to around 1000 EGP for what can only be described as a modest meal consisting of two small pizzas and a small burger.

Given the lackluster culinary experience coupled with the exorbitant prices, I cannot justify a return visit. It’s disheartening when the price does not reflect the quality, and in this case, it...

Great experience overall. They are specialized in pasta, pizza and burgers. I have only tried their burgers. Both the classic and the cheddar filled patty (juicy lucy) were good but their portions were a bit small. I’d recommend two for a satisfying meal. It comes with a side of your choice (sweet potato fries, waffle fries, or normal ones). It doesn’t come with a drink but they do have fresh juices too.
