At first I thought the food was great due to rating and reviews but when I went there it was all different. The place was very organized and nice looking but dont let looks deceive you. Ordered chicken biryani, Cho coch and chicken masala Medium spicy. What i got wasn't spicy and then once I told them they took my food for few minutes and made it very spicy. It did not taste like a biryani at ALL and there was little rice with half chicken not cut to small little pieces like the real Indian Biryani. Then when it came to the masala it looks so good but when I was eating the chicken that I was trying to eat was very small. I m talking about the whole chicken or what i thought was a chicken looked more like a pigeon. I never ordered a pigeon masala. After all this tried to take my salad and rest of rice home since I paid for everything. The waiters took my food and put everything except for my salad that i didnt touch thought to try it at home guess they sold it to other ppl. It was a dirty move and a very very pricey food almost 500 Egp for three dishes. Not even worth 150 Egp. Guess tried it and will never ever step a foot in that restaurant AGAIN!!!!! Hope that helps you making the right...
Read moreWe were in need for a good Indian meal and (to our best luck), were recommended to pay this restaurant a visit. The restaurant’s decoration may seem to be outdated but it reflects a typical Indian atmosphere. We were well received by the staff. The flavors take you directly to New Delhi or Mumbai. The deserts were even better than the entree and the main course. We had to raise the hat to the Indian chef who saluted us at the table and to the Egyptian chef behind the seen .. and of course our thanks to the...
Read moreGood Indian food in Cairo. We tried couple of vegetables, roti, paratha, raita and masala papadum. All of them were good quality and nicely made. Rice was fresh and basmati. The staff were wearing traditional Indian clothing and they were playing Hindi Bollywood music. There were hot plates to ensure food remains hot for long time. Few options for drink. They also have Lassi. The chef is Egyptian and came out to meet us and take any feedback. Good Indian food overall. Fine dining,...
