Amaya Restaurant Madinat Makadi — Restaurant in Makadi Bay

Very disappointed with the service at this place, we were there for 2 hours and had to wait ages for the food. The starters were bland, the fish was like jelly and the chicken tikka didn't taste like chicken. Our main food was brought out 20 mins before the naan bread was given and so had gone cold, and they were delayed by only 20 mins because I went and complained to the waiter. Deserts which were meant to be served hot were absolutely cold and other deserts were just not cooked right, like they were rushed out and therefore raw. We had to rush our deserts because we waited so long we wouldve missed the bus back to our hotel. I'm disappointed I wasted my 1 free a la carte choice on this place and if I visit Makadi Bay again I won't be visiting this...

Food was horrible and tasteless. Only the butter chicken is worth eating even though it’s free. Mohammed was very good with service and I have him a big tip just so I can show results of good service. however the women at reception should be fired and go clean the streets instead. She was so rude and unwelcoming that I wanted to leave right away if though it’s free. Try another free option...

An amazing restaurant. The waiters were very kind and catered for us the whole way through the dining experience. The best part about the dinner was the food. The chef cooked amazingly. I would recommend the fish and chicken for starters and the lamb kebabs for main course. Absolute 10/10 food + experience. We will definitely be back here again...
