مطعم بيت العز — Restaurant in Matruh

I ordered their syrian chicken shawarma with Taboula on the side & Baba ghanoug . Service was so slow it literally took a waiting time of approx 18 minutes for me to get my take out order. Very slow service overall. N oddly enough first restaurant ever i order baba ghanoug or any dip n they don’t provide bread w it . The guy kept on saying we don’t have bread !! Than gave me a small container of the fried crispy bread they use for fatoush !! I don’t understand what kind of Syrian restaurant is this!!!? N than at the end they gave me saj bread!! .overall food taste was alright not #1 but it was good . Shawarma...

The restaurant is vast and well decorated, the seating area is comfy, however not air conditioned, the staff is friendly and nice but the serving time is a bit long.

I tried their shawerma which was tasty and delicious.

Their sweet pies are pretty delicious and different kinds.

تجربه فاشله لا انصح احد بها ساعه ونصف انتظار والاكل دافئ وكان الطلب بسيط بيتزا جبن و2برجر دجاج وعندما بلغنا الجرسون ان البرجر المطلوب كان بدون خضار واللي نزل علي الترابيزه بخضار ومايونيز ببساطه اخده وخللي العامل في المطبخ يزيل طبقه الخضار والصوص ورجعه لينا والعيش طبعا مبلول مكان الصوص وببساطه كان يمكن استبدال الجزء السفلي من الساندويتش بخبز نضيف ولكن ده بحصل في المطاعم المحترمه واللي مش منها بيت العز اللي ماشيبن ببلطجه واذا كان عاجبكو وده كان لسان حال الجرسون وهو بيرجعلنا الساندويتش المبلول وبيحمل زوجي المسئوليه في الغلطه بتاعه الاوردر مش انه فهم الاوردر غلط وطبعا ليه زوجي سكت عشان اولادنا كانوا جعانين جدا ومكانوش هيتقبلوا اننا نقوم ونروح مكان تاني لاننا فعليا انتظرنا...
