مطعم كوكو العربي — Restaurant in Matruh

I have no idea why the restaurant have a 4 star only while I think it's an easy 5 for a local restaurant in Marsa Matrouh that offers the same level and taste of food each day.

It's been 33 years for me since the last time I visited Matrooh.

I returned to visit the City that have dramatically changed. And had to visit one of the known places which is KOKO restaurant

🐔 So we ordered Chicken Tawook which wasn't my favorite.

🥩 We ordered Nifa meat or the Lamb Meat, which is delicious very tender after it's heavy cooking. And it was amazing to the point I ordered again the second day we visited.

🍝 The Mebakbaka pasta with its Red Sauce and the Oven Pasta is from another world. Loved it.

Wasn't a big fan of Vine Leaves.

I live the idea of close space that you can stay in with friends on the floor and eat.

Amazing Bedouin restaurant! The setting, food and atmosphere are all authentic. They have separate seating areas which provides comfort and privacy, very useful when you have children who like to run around. We tried Mandi, meat with coscous and meat with pasta, all were really nice. The meal comes with soup, salad and cooked vegetables. I'm not sure they can speak/understand languages other than Arabic though, but if you can manage a bit then it's definitely worth a visit. Would definitely love...
