If you're visiting Luxor and heading to the Karnak Temple, make sure to turn left as you exit — you'll find a lovely little restaurant and café where you can relax and enjoy freshly made fruit juices.
It’s a peaceful spot, often with a few friendly cats keeping you company. The location is incredibly pleasant and offers the perfect break from the busy streets or the heat of the day.
As someone who travelled through Egypt without any tour operators or guides, arriving at this restaurant felt like a breath of fresh air. The staff member in charge is incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly a great host. He’ll make you feel right at home and serve you food that tastes like it came straight from his mother’s kitchen.
The prices are fair, and most importantly, you won’t feel like you're being scammed — something that's sadly too common in touristy areas. This place felt honest and genuine, and the host seems like a real five-star person.
If there’s one restaurant I’d recommend in Luxor, it’s definitely this one. Keep up the great work! Big hug and see...
Read moreWe found Adam's place by accident when visiting Karnak Temple and meeting him was the highlight of our trip. He showed us so much kindness and we visited him many times during our stay in Luxor. He also generously invited us to his cousin's wedding and this was an authentic Egyptian experience we could never replicate in any tourist activity. In addition to the generosity and kindness of Adam, White Cafe is an oasis of calm away from the dusty and noisy streets of Luxor. The food (kofta with rice and kuchary) was the best we had in all of Egypt. A well known Luxor chef prepares the food. The guava juice is delicious and kept us hydrated during many hot afternoons. I can't imagine meeting a kinder or more helpful person than Adam. It was such a treat that we stumbled upon White Cafe. Thank you dear Adam, you really made our time in Egypt very special!...

The owner is so incredibly kind and welcomes you in as if you were guests in his home. He was serving kofta when we visited (also the best kofta we had all trip), and we ordered a couple of delicious juices too. You truly cannot beat the food here. Every part of our meal was perfect. It is a beautiful, outdoor space - minutes from the entrance of Karnak - that is serene, peaceful, and inviting. The owner also cares for the absolute sweetest family of kittens, who we were thrilled to meet after enjoying our lunch....
