Had a lovely meal at Bayt Ward on a hot afternoon after a visit to Karnak temple. We ordered grilled kofta and grilled fish. Both were excellent and well-prepared. The complimentary bread was freshly baked and warm. My husband and I were very disappointed. We came for a late lunch after visiting Karnak and ordered 2 drinks, shisha, salads, soup, grilled mix, chicken with lemon sauce, and fries. Our drinks never came and we were charged for them. The fries were forgotten, but brought after I asked. The shisha burnt out in less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend to anyone who come to visit in Luxor. Especially for those who visit Luxor temple, it’s walkable distance and turned out it’s worth it.
