أنتخانة ام ياسين-antkhana omyassin — Restaurant in Red Sea

I really liked her old place better.... the food was better and it felt far more authentic than this new spot.... which I realize is several years old now. We ate at the old place and LOVED it - food was great, service was spot-on, and pricing was fair. Yes it was "rustic" and small but the food - OMG! So good! Then we heard they had moved and we tried it out - awful! but it was in the first month of the post-move and the cook was terrible - we heard he was let go and a new cook brought on. We tried it again - average food, boring atmosphere, so-so service- and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Tried it again this past month and were so disappointed. Pigeon tangene had the pigeon bones left in - we were warned by the waitress - but guess I didn't realize how I would be picking out tiny bird bones from my food all night. Husband ordered mixed grill to mixed reaction about what was properly cooked/spiced..... we have decided not to return until we hear things have turned around. Tooo many other places to find good food in a nice environment with better service than here. RESPONSE: Receipt was Feb. 8th, today is March 13- I don't run home and post reviews but think about what I write, especially if they are less than enthusiastic about a place we have enjoyed in the past. And I don't write after only one less than stellar experience, as was represented in my review, we've eaten there multiple times. To your comments: We were told the two sides were included with our entree- one each. So perhaps a miscommunication about what is a gift and what is "included"? But my husband is Egyptian and fluent in Arabic, so... thank you for including them. You did warn me the bones were in the pigeon dish (as I said in the review)- I just didn't realize they would be mixed throughout and so small. I liked the dish as you prepared it in the past, with only the meat (no bones) and far more of the complex spices and flavors in the rice. This dish is disappointing now. My husband is a kind and lovely man who enjoyed meeting your family and talking with you. He would never (as is his custom) say he did not enjoy his meal. It was ok....I don't recall him saying it was perfect however, nor does he. Regardless, this forum is to represent the experiences of customers and this is what we experienced. We wish you all the best in the future and hope someday to hear that the food is again as amazing as it was...

Unfortunately Om Yassin has changed alot now, service standard below my expectations and food is served cold . Customer service has deteriorated miles a way. Alas

تحديث ..... زمااان في رمضان اللي فات ٢٠١٨ .. كنت قيمت مطعم أم ياسين رقم ١ وبعده مطعم الدار دارك رقم ٢ . لكن يمكن ده علشان كان الدار دارك قافل في رمضان !! ... وأم ياسين فاتح ويقدم الأكل في وقت واحد ساعة الفطار فكان الأكل جودة عالية جدا وسخن ومفرفر وكنت فرحان جدا .. جدا.. لكن للأسف مستواه ترااااااجع جدا الأكل بااااارد ... الجودة قلت .. المحشي الكوسة والبتنجان والفلفل بقى حجمه ضخم ومتربس رز .. وملغوش شطه علشان.. ماتستمتعش بالطعم .. الرز بااارد ... احيانا معجن .. الباشميل نسبة البصل زادت جدا فيه ... الملوحية مزبلقة .. . المسقعة .. بقت شبه اللي بيقدمها . . محتاجين اصطف بيفهم ودماغه نظيفة .. ومدربين أو خريجين مدارس فندقية على الأقل .. أو يدربوهم بمساعدة متخصص في طريفة تقديم الأكل أو الحساب .. ما ينفعش آكل من يد جرسون كان واقف على باب المطعم بيسبرس سبارس.. وريحته مدخنة .. ...!!! مش هتكلم على الحمام المشترك مع الكافتيريا المنتنة اللي جنبه .. والمغاسل اللي بقت شبههم.. والصبانات اللي بايظة .. والمناديل اللي فاضية وتضطر ترجع الترابيزة علشان تنشف .. وعدم اهتمامهم بالتفاصيل في المكان .. للأسف دي تالت مرة اجربه ... واقول اديله فرصه يمكن يكون رجع زي الأول . في رمضان .. . أجد انه بيطلع من نقرة لدحديرة ومن فخ لفخ .. ولو سألته عن طقم الاصطف اللي كان خوجود . ينفخ وشه ويعقد حواجبه ويقول طردناهم !!. وجربت الدار دارك لاقيت مستواه تقدم للمركز الأول متخطيا أم ياسين بمراحل. حبيت أكله خاصة المحشي المصحصح والملوخية والممبار اللي فشلت فيهم أم ياسين للأسف . && انتبهوا && راجعوا الفاتورة قبل ما تمشي .. ممكن تلاقي انه مزود طبق رز .. زي ما حصل معايا ولما تنبه مايكلفش خاطره بالاعتذار .. ! مرفق الفاتورة والصور الحديثة وده كان رأيي في المطعم زماان... مطعم أم ياسين الغردقة لو هقيمه لازم ياخد 9 نجوم من 10 المطعم من حيث ترتيبه بين مطاعم الغردقة هو الأول يليه في الجودة الدار دارك أم ياسين ممكن تكون قوة ناعمة حقيقية للغردقة الأسعار معقولة والأكل نضيف والنفس حلو المشروع محتاج يتشجع ويستاهل الركنة متاحة للسيارات سهل الوصول للمطعم في الكوثر وممكن تدخل له من طريق المطار من يمين صيدلية العزبي أسهل محتاجة فريق من الجرسونات أكثر تنظيما الناس في المطعم أكثر مودة لكن محتاجين محترفين أم ياسين وأكلاتها .. تستاهل تتاكل أكل اقولك إيه ولا إيه عن شوربة الكوارع ولا الملوخية ولا الرز المفرفر والمحاشي والطواجن كله كوم والمكرونة الباشميل ... لاء .. تستاهل بنت الإيه نصيحة لوجه الله مطعم أم ياسين علامة في الغردقة . #تحديث# مطعم أم ياسين ... كان...

We visited Antkhana Omyassin and we had good time there but it still needs some improvements to their services! such as the card machine was not working and the add some food in our bill that we haven’t ordered !!!! Waiters are nice but slow in services which we waited to get our food even salad‼️. Then we ordered Shish that was not good at all.

We ordered: 1- Tajan Bamiah 8/10 2- Mahashi Maschkl 5/10 (was not Maschkl they did not have kromb or warag anab‼️) 3- Arabic salad 6/10 4- Sairia Rise 6/10 5- Shisha Grab 3/10

It’s okay to visit but be carful look at your bill before...
