Cadejo Brewing Company — Restaurant in San Salvador

Cadejo in Zona Rosa resides in a quiet but easily accessible street. The interior design is nothing special, the food is quite acceptable. The service is warm and professional and deserves praise.

However, the main event is the beer. Six varieties can be tasted in a "beer sampler" and you should do exactly that. In particular, the IPA and La Negra are to be recommended, while none is bad and all could be served colder. Well, in Britain the temperature would be a little low, but in Germany (and who would know better) it would need to be significantly colder, all the more since it warms up quickly in Salvadorian climate.

The Nacional and Koloschka - a Kölsch ale, which is the heart and soul of Germany's nicest city Cologne - are not part of the sampler. A pity, since both are among the best of Cadejo's. Don't miss them.

Great place, the food is perfect, the churrasco, chorizo and chicken combo was amazing. Our server Dan or Danny sorry sir, was super friendly and welcoming like all of the people from El Salvador we have encountered in our week stay. The food arrived 20 minutes after it was placed in a wood table in a beautiful presentation, the taste was unreal, the seasoning was right on point, the meat was full of flavor and super tender. The table lay out gives you plenty of room without feeling crowded or hearing others conversations. Great selection of beers since they are a brewery, sorry I didn't try any so I can't judge on their flavor or quality. Overall a great place just a few steps from the Spanish Embassy in San Salvador, very safe...

This is El Salvador's first craft microbrewery. The brewery has branched out and has various locations, distributing their beer regionally. Their beer has a solid foundation and excellent flavor. What you won't find is the experimental flavors that you find in current American craft brewing, such as smoke or coffee infusion. The beer is essentially El Salvador's take on mid 2000's microbrewing, and it's well executed.

As for the food, my dining experience in Colonia Escalon location has been excellent. The menu has a broad variety of dishes with a El Salvador twist. One of the managers, Estafany, came over during our meal to ensure that everything was to our liking. I highly recommend this place as a...
