Jahtklubi Restoran — Restaurant in Pärnu linn

I recently visited Pärnu Yacht Club Restaurant with high hopes, given the positive reviews about their food and drinks. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor service, which overshadowed the quality of the meal.

First, upon arrival, the staff had no record of our reservation. This lack of organization was just the beginning of our troubles. We then had to wait over an hour for our food, which is unacceptable under any circumstances. To make matters worse, there was no apology from the staff for the delay. Instead, they merely shifted the blame to the kitchen and the chef.

While the food and drinks were indeed good, the overall experience was significantly diminished by the lack of accountability and professionalism from the staff. A simple acknowledgment and apology could have gone a long way in mitigating the frustration caused by the long wait.

I hope the management addresses these service issues, as the culinary potential of Pärnu Yacht Club Restaurant is promising. However, until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant...

Was worried this place might be pricey reading other reviews, but actually very good food at good value. I had a delicious pork shank, mash, green beans and tasty sauce for 12 euros, and good beer for less than 3 a pint. Free bread and garlic butter. Plenty of well-cooked meals with good ingredients on offer for under 10, a burger was 11. Lots of seating inside and out, good for families or couples looking for something simple and friendly. We were a bit attacked by midges and mozzies even inside because open windows and lots of lights on, but overall a great meal! Staff spoke English and menu included...

We had a quick pasta and wine on Sunday afternoon. It was not a very busy time so food came rather quickly and we were served efficiently and politely (which is not very common in Pärnu restaurants these days!). Extra good service for arranging the wheelchair accessible exit when we asked for a easier way out (in my company was a person with accessibility requirements, using stairs was difficult for them) and calling us a taxi.
