Mount Kailash Restaurant — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I was staying at the hotel across the street and happened to walk by this place by accident. It was pretty quiet on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant looked like a fairly traditional Nepalese place — nothing fancy or trendy.

I have to say, I was absolutely amazed by the fantastic quality. Everything was excellen. I had a mixed curry dish with lamb curry, butter chicken, and another one with lentils — all perfectly seasoned, not too spicy but full of flavor. The naan bread was also wonderfully fresh and warm.

I honestly can’t give this place anything less than a full five stars. A true hidden gem and an absolute must-visit if you enjoy...

We were dining in the restaurant near Lansi terminal today. Only two tables were occupied and there were lots of free space. Then came a group of twelve people and the waiter insisted us to move from our table to an other because one of the ladies wanted to keep her dog near the corner where we were sitting. Which restaurant insists their customers to change tables at the middle of their dining 😅 Horrible customer service ever...

I love this restaurant! There are lots of vegan options, clearly marked in the menu. Also the spicyness of the meals are marked very clearly. The staff is very thoughtful and nice.
