Vesikioski — Restaurant in Joensuu sub-region

The experience was ruined by wasps swarming the food and drinks. Multiple customers had to leave and little was done to accommodate. Don't visit unless you want wasps in your food and workers being unbothered about it. It's the restaurant's responsibility to ensure the customers are safe while eating, and at the least warn about the wasp problem and have proper take-away packaging.

Their special is bun waffle with ice cream and toppings like nutella & strawberry, which is quite delicious, but pricey.

Amazing salmon soup. A meal in itself. I had a bagel as well as that and probably didn’t need it. It was quite hard to eat it because of how much was crammed on to the bagel. Free tap water is available, which I wish I’d realised before...

Pullavohvelit oli vielä vuosi sitten mun lempi kesäherkku. Matkustan kesäisin Helsingistä Joensuuhun ja odotin aina innolla Vesikioskin antimia. Pettymyksekseni uuden yrittäjän myötä erikoiset täytteet kuten peltolan blue homejuusto ja biscoff tahna ovat hävinneet pullavohveli valikoimasta. Myös vesirinkelien kasvisvaihtoedhot olivat supistuneet yhteen. Annoksista on tullut sotkuisia mättölautasia ja täytteet ovat geneerisiä.
