Visited 25.1.2025 at 22:30. General: Place looks inviting and based on previous reviews decided to visit here.
Food: They sound inviting based on ingredients and names. The prices are the same as buffet lunches, then again it's a la carte time. I ordered a kebab with rice. It came with a bit of greens on the side. Like Eerikin Pippuri, Myyrmäki on my first visit - it's not good at all. 1+/5. My friend ordered a dish WITHOUT tomato but there was tomato, 1/5.
Service: incredible, how can this place function when you are interrogated about taking pictures! Plus as my friend speaks better English i was automatically in English mode. But rudely they got a temper and demanded Finnish. Really angry and rude towards us. I can immediately tell you to avoid this place! 0/5 for The second time in my life. A zero, 0/5.
Atmosphere: it is quite nice visually but The angry temper creates a bad atmosphere, 1/5.

A Mediterranean menu leaning towards Turkey, Greece, Iran, Kurdish and Afghanistan is perfect for my palette. The shish-kebabs are really good, I think they have vegan stuff too, and bulgur and rice and sides are great. Pros: nice environment, good service, inexpensive food, great flavors and layers of them, easy-going, no rush. I even met the owner who knows a lot about his foods. Cons: the street where Ephesus is is under reconstruction or refurbishment and the restaurant might be easy to miss. It looks a little old from the inside, but don't let looks fool you, it's really the food...
Read moreVery good food with a diverse set of tastes on a single plate. A shared starter plate(Meze lajitelma) and an assortment of grilled meats with vegetables, rice, hummus, etc.(Karisik izgara) topped with a turkish beer left me full and smiling. The service was friendly, enthusiastic, gregarious and helpful. All this goodness was topped of with enjoyable ethnic music. An all around great experience. I will definitely visit Ephesus on my future trips...
