I visited the restaurant for lunch with my 22y daughter.
It was tasteless! Where are the Indian spices? To be clear hot chilli alone is not how Indian food tastes. I have eaten Indian food from so many places in India and around the world homemade and restaurants yet this tasteless food I have never had before. Very disgusting! Portion size is big so if you are not after taste and quality, it will fill you up.
The service was fine at start, but then waiters stood close by our table chitchatting and then one of them burping so loud just when passing next to our table!
The chef/cook kept coming out of the kitchen walking around with his dirty cooking clothes… I mean I have managed restaurants before I know chefs get quiet messy very often, but no way they would be allowed walking around customers looking like that’
This restaurant is simply a joke!
Ps; my 22y daughter threw up the whole meal in the same evening. She said that she was the most unlucky person for tasting that food twice in the same day, once going in and...
Read moreI love coming here almost weekly with my friend. Depending on the time, you might even have to wait to get a table. It is quite busy during lunch time since a lot of people come for their lunch break, but they still provide service fast. The only cons I see quite often and can cause discomfort when confronting about, is that they usually don't remember or don't communicate well enough about the naan bread. We love naan bread but when we order a full naan they usually forget it, so we have to go to the waiter and let them know about the issue, since we paid for it some extra euro. The other con is that there is no standardized amount of spicy-ness level. You will get your spicy level always different, even if you ask for no or mild.
Other than that, the staff is super great and always helpful, smiling and with...
Read moreOn a recent business trip to Jyvskala I found this great Indian restaurant that is within the train station. I love a good curry and has tried another place in Jyvskala but it was disappointing. This place however was excellent, the food was very tasty, on the first visit I had a chicken madras, then a chicken vindaloo, then I had the chicken tikka masala twice because it was so good. The chicken was succulent and lots of big chunks of it , the sauce was delicious and tasty, you can upgrade the spiciness, I went to 4 but it wasn’t that hot if you’re used to hot curries but the flavours were very good. The service was prompt and the young lady was friendly and spoke good English. Never seemed to be too busy on my visits which was fine by me, and good value too. All in all a very pleasant dining experience and...
