Gotta love the Bloons style mascot of a Chinese mythological figure representing Japanese cuisine. The selection is a mix of Japanese (sushi) and sort-of Chinese and sort-of Thai. Nothing spicy, so more "Japanese" on that front. It's kind of confused and it tries to cater to a general Finnish palate but it works in that way. For Asian food, it's mid. For Asian food in Kajaani, it's OK. I do think Prisma has better sushi in terms of quality and portion sizes but given it's a buffet, it makes sense why there's more rice on the sushi. Kind of pricey for what it is though, but if you crave Asian food and don't want to make it yourself, this is the...
Read moreDon't know who reviews here with a high rating, but to me this was the worst AYCE buffet I've ever experienced. Service not available at all, no one really cares when guests entering the restaurant. The sushi was dry from laying around for probably hours and smelled fishy. Also the noodles and rice were dry and kept warm for hours. The rest of the warm buffet was nearly cold and also dryed-out, the meat was tough like chewing gum. Dessert contains of cookies and sweets that you can buy at any grocery, nothing cuisine. Not even the low price can justify this...
Read moreA citymarket style sushi buffet but in a lovely setting. The staff was very helpful and lovely but had hoped for fresh sushi/asian food at dinner time instead of a stale buffet. The building is beautiful with loads of potential but it is lost in the fast food style eatery. In addition you have to return your own dishes to a cart. Abit of a dissapointment. Drinks selection and the a very helpful staff were a bonus. I wish them success with their business. The buffet is probably a good idea...
