Lovely visit to this cool restaurant.
Pros: the staff, servers and the sommelier are great professionals with real dedication to customer service. The wine selection is innovative. Real kudos to the wine staff, great stuff! Food is really good, nice flavour combinations. The tasting menu contains some gems like the soup, scallops (nice way to add a crunch and texture to the scallop) and the memorable cherry + ouzo merengue dessert. Atmosphere is somber, just the right amount of music and background noise. Tableware is currently by Tokyo Design Studio, works well for the plating needs of this place. Looks a bit mixed and random.
Cons: some dishes come on communal plates although there would be no real need for this. Even the tasting menu main dish (fish with various purees) comes on a communal plate for two eaters. Transferring the dish to your own plate ruins the plating and mixes the flavors. 2 of the 9 dishes we tried were a bit overtly salted (the pasta and the fish).
Great value for your time,...
