Faasai Thai-ravintola Hatanpään valtatie — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

I recently had the pleasure of lunch at the newly opened branch of Faasai Restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. This spacious location comfortably accommodates around 120 guests, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings.

True to the Faasai name, the food here maintains the high standards the brand is known for—but in my opinion, it's even better than the original branch in the city. The menu is impressively diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether you're a fan of traditional Thai dishes, crave something fried and crispy, or want a light, healthy option, you'll find something here that delights your palate.

Families with kids will especially appreciate the variety of fried snacks that little ones can enjoy. But the real showstopper comes at the end of the meal: the dessert selection. There are three kinds of cake, three flavors of ice cream, and a house-special pancake recipe that’s absolutely delicious—fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in sweetness.

Big selection of food. The brand new restaurant was nicely laid out, the buffet kept getting filled. Very busy around 11:30, so no water glasses etc. Little bit hard to find seats for some.

Food was good. Many of the curries tasted very much the same. Both soups seemed to contain meat. One tofu option. The layout of the buffet was a bit challenging as some of the carbs (noodles, fried rice) were in the end of the line rather than where the rice was. The curries weren't marked very well either.

Finnish style Thai food made well. I'd liked to have some more spice, even the prik nam pla was sadly not...

Illallisella ruoka oli todella hyvää ja annokset ISOT, mutta palvelu jätti toivomisen varaa. Jouduimme ensin odottamaan puolisen tuntia, että meiltä tultiin ottamaan tilaukset vastaan (ja syömisen jälkeenkin täytyi mennä kassalle kyselemään tarjoilijan perään.
