Stefan’s Steakhouse Vaasa — Restaurant in Vaasa sub-region

It was a busy Saturday evening at Stefans Steakhouse when we visited. We had to wait a little bit to long to be taken to our table, for our food to be served and to be charged. The waitress who took our orders seemed very stressed and rushed away before taking drink orders from everyone at our table. There seemed to be too little staff working that evening. The waitresses who took away our plates asked more than once if we could hand over our plates, which I would not expect at a restaurant of this standard. We were a party of 6 and we all ate different things (starter + main course). Having tasted a little bit of everyones dishes, I would say the food was good but not spectacular, nothing really stood out. The menu was a little bit on the pricy side, I have eaten food of the same caliber at similar restaurants for less. The restaurant decor was very nice and trendy and the atmosphere was good. Okay, let's start.

Don't try the LA burger cause its too expensive for the thing you are going to eat. The knife makes impossible to cut the burger correctly so you will have a mix in your plate and not a real burger.

Fries taste like pre-frozen fries, also the sauce in the burger.

The waiter try to make waste more money saying that the first I ordered its not available. Oh come on I'm student not CEO in Nokia.

Been here before, great food and came back for more. This time it was a huge disappointment… We ordered tuna and trout. The trout was raw, sent back, got a new serving 10 minutes later. Still raw….. The tuna was ordered to be medium, came in as well done, extremely dry… Were we compensated? Free soft drink and still water… Seriously, if you miss twice on the trout, and bomb the tuna, how can you justify charging...
