A Casa Corsa — Restaurant in Ajaccio

We tried this restaurant for dinner whilst in Piana and it was sadly very disappointing. I had a salmon gnocchi dish and it was truly one of the most awful things I've ever tasted (from someone who is not fussy!). The gnocchi was tough, the sauce was like nothing I've ever tasted before with a bitter saltiness in a thick congealed sauce, and the salmon did not taste fresh and had been badly cooked. I could not eat it and the waitress charged us for it anyway and was very rude and unapologetic. I swapped my dish for a salad and the leaves were badly bruised and wilted (not fresh either). This family-owned restaurant is definitely worth trying! The restaurant is clean, spacious and guests can enjoy a view of beautiful piana from their table. The food is well-priced and the quality is good, especially for homemade dishes! We both ordered a pizza, which is just the perfect size for an adult. Overpriced breakfast, €10 per person. Pain au chocolate were cooked from frozen. There is a bakery 50 meters away that we could have gotten them fresh. Would go there instead.
