La Voûte — Restaurant in Ajaccio

We just had dinner there, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff recommended wines, offering options at different price points, and all of them were great. The dishes definetely showed a high level of skill and care.

We both had the grilled langoustines, fish soup, wild boar terrine, and Corsican cheese cannelloni. Everything was amazing. The langoustines were perfectly grilled, the fish soup was rich and flavorful, the wild boar terrine was hearty, and the cheese cannelloni was delicious. To finish, we had a delightful chestnut mousse.

The cozy and charming nave inside the restaurant added to the wonderful atmosphere.

In short, definitely go there—it's worth it...

Best restaurant in Corsica bar none. Granted I only compare it to the handful of places we visited but the service and food were both great. We were accommodated on a busy night without a reservation. Despite us not speaking French and the staff not speaking English we both tried hard and made it work.

The food was great. We had the rack of lamb, grilled sea bass and lamb chops. We also had the ”Berger” salad, fries, potato salad and green beans for sides. All of the above was really good but made better by the smiling faces of the staff trying to make sure we enjoyed our experience even though they were “run around” busy all night.

The vaults is an exceptional place to spend an evening. The fresh fish is fabulous yet reasonably priced. The wine selection is good and likewise value. What really makes the dinner though is the wonderful embracing welcome from Antonella. With grace and beauty, she naturally makes everyone feel welcome comfortable and attended. Just the right amount of service to feel looked after, but not bothered or harassed. No dodgy double settings where you have to exit your table under pressure by a certain time. And just to help you with the bill at the end, you may get a little sweetener. I’ve been before and...
