Incredible Tapas in the Heart of Courchevel – 10/10

This restaurant was hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, not just in Courchevel, but anywhere. We’ve eaten tapas in Madrid, Barcelona, and San Sebastián, but the food here honestly topped them all.

The beef tataki was unbelievably tender and full of flavour, the chorizo had the perfect balance of spice and smokiness, and all the tablas plates were incredible — everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic Spanish flavours.

What really surprised us was the pricing — for a high-end ski resort like Courchevel, the value was fantastic. Amazing food, generous portions, and surprisingly reasonable prices compared to other spots in town.

On top of that, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being over the top.

Well, what can I say about Copina, the warm, rustic décor and lively atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable journey. Every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece—full of vibrant flavours and fresh, high-quality ingredients

The patatas bravas had the perfect balance of crispy potatoes and a rich, smoky sauce, while the gambas al ajillo were tender, garlicky, and bursting with flavor. My most favourite dish, the choricitos al jerez.. wow!! Each bite felt like a celebration of traditional Spanish cuisine. And let’s not forget the cocktails, such work and detail have gone into each and everyone!

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. It felt more like being hosted by a close friend than dining at a restaurant. I had high expectations for Copiña, yet I was still blown away by the delicious calamari and chicken tacos. The calamari was perfectly crispy and accompanied by a zesty and spicy sauce that really elevated the dish. The chicken tacos were also a standout, with juicy, flavorful chicken and a great balance of toppings.

But the real highlight of the meal was the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The servers were attentive and made sure that our experience was top-notch. Our waiter was muy guapo (very handsome) and we’re glad we followed his advice getting the calamari.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was a joy to interact with. Whether you're in the mood for calamari or chicken tacos, or anything else on the menu, you can't go wrong...
