Lilie — Restaurant in Albertville

It's a very nice restaurant, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were 12 people and it took a bit over an hour to be served after we ordered which I feel is a bit too much, I think it's because they have a small kitchen staff and I'll add that the restaurant wasn't full. We did get served all at the same time of course. The food was very good albeit on the side of "modern cuisine" so in terms of quantity there isn't a lot on your plate (talking from a European perspective, not an American one xD), and there were very few vegetarian and gluten free (cœliaque) options. Nothing on the menu indicated special (dietary) requirements so we needed to ask. I think this is a shame since so many people are intolerant and vegetarian/vegan nowadays. They should definitely revise...

We had a lovely lunch here. Most of the staff were lovely and friendly and the food was excellent. Unfortunately I found a small piece of glass in my ravioli, like a broken beer glass, not sharp like a wine glass. I told the waiter, just so he could let the kitchen know, not making a fuss. His response was, ‘Is it plastic?’ He then said, ‘There is no cream on it’, as if I was trying to scam a free meal. I told him I found it in my mouth and he just said ‘Thank you for telling me’ and off he went. No apology or shock. From not wanting to make an issue, I was then a bit shocked by the lack of care. Our (two from Colorado USA and 3 from UK) group was extremely gappy with the entire experience. We celebrated a birthday and the staff was just lovely. The food was fantastic - starter, mains, desserts were all stellar. We rode the city free shuttle to and from our accommodations it all just worked out really well.
