Tsaretta Spice Rocks! Seriously Good Food & Awesome Service! So, we hit up Tsaretta Spice the other night, and honestly, it was one of the best Indian meals I've had in ages! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just right, and the service? Top-notch, no lie. We were super lucky to have Twifold and Suriya looking after us, and seriously, those guys are legends! They were so on it – knew their stuff about the menu, had great recommendations, and just made us feel totally looked after without hovering. Twifold even suggested a cocktail that was spot on with our starters, and Suriya was always there making sure we had drinks and that our dishes came out perfectly timed. They're just genuinely lovely and really make you feel like a valued guest. Big props to them! Now, the food – oh man. We went for the sharing thing so we could try loads, and everything was just banging. The masala was so rich and tasty, proper comfort food. The lamb was ridiculously tender and spiced just right. But the sea bass? That was a real winner – cooked perfectly, super flaky, and the spices were delicate enough that you could still taste the fish. We also got a few different rice dishes, and they were all spot on, adding that extra something to each bite. And let's talk about the cocktails for a sec – they were seriously next level! Every single one was mixed perfectly, looked amazing, and tasted even better. They were the perfect booze-up alongside our incredible meal. Honestly, Tsaretta Spice is a total gem. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and killer service, especially from Twifold and Suriya. We left feeling stuffed and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for a top Indian spot, you gotta check...
Read moreI’m not sure where to begin. I walked in at about 8.30 pm and ordered takeout. It took a painstaking 40 minutes to prepare. They said the delay was down to two large groups seated before me, so they served the 30 people seated comfortably for the evening before me, who had ordered two mains and were sitting on a barstool.
The popadom looks like they’re from a crisp packet off a supermarket shelf, the naan bread looked microwaved and has a mushy texture, and it’s the first mashed saag aloo I’ve tried to eat. There are four pieces of chicken in the Korma covered in what looks and tastes like packet sauce which was necessary because the chicken was so dry. The chicken Tikka, wow, you needed 2 pints of water to wash it down. The rice was a statement to say, “How dare you order one rice between two, so we’re going to fill the container halfway.
I don’t get how others have reviewed it so highly. The food in ski resorts, Meribel in particular, is woeful and overpriced (this mess costs €80), but people just seem to accept it.
Anyway, it's the only Indian food in the area, so if you can’t wait until you get home, it’s your only choice. My advice is to wait a few weeks and...

The ceiling is a bit low and all the tables were close to each, so it was pretty noisy. And it took us 20min to order our foods. (no one came to our table) But foods were absolutely tasty! We strongly recommand Chou-Fleur Manchurian and Kathrika Masla. Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan were great as well. Hope to have a butter naan in...
