PARTAJO - RESTAURANT - CAVE A VIN - MERIBEL — Restaurant in Albertville

4 of us dined on Friday night 17 January 2025. We came with high expectations as we read good reviews of the restaurant. The service staff were attentive and the wine shop had a great selection of wines especially burgundys albeit quite pricey.

We ordered 4 mains to share Cocotte of the day was Boeuf bourguignon (the meat was tough) -Andouillerre Bobbosse or Chitterling Veal Sausage ( mainly pieces of offal which we did not enjoy) and the accompanying mash potato was tasteless - no salt at all -Rack of Lamb ordered medium rare was tough and full of gristle- hard to cut with steak knives and not pleasant, mainly undercooked Ballotine of stuffed poultry was sadly overcooked. We didn’t finish it

Overall we were disappointed with our meal and did not inform serving staff because too much would be lost in translation and our meal is mainly the responsibility of the kitchen. So we decided to leave a review to get the information directly to management.

Très beau restaurant. Raclette bonne mais excessive pour le prix. Attention il compte 250g pour 2 personnes et non 500g comme dans la majorité des restaurants . Donc le prix n’est pas justifié.

Ceux-ci n'est pas le premier commentaire que vous recevez sur la quantité de fromage sur vos spécialité savoyarde ( fondue ). En aucun j'ai dénigré la qualité du fromage étant donné que je l'ai qualifié de bonne. Manger 1 kilo de fromage pour 2 est extreme en quantité sachant que nous sommes pas des gros mangeurs. Sans parlé de quantité parce que ça sera une conversation sans fin. En effet à votre serveuse j'ai répondu : " Oui, aucun problème, je ne suis pas venue au restaurant pour mourrir de faim !" Pour conclure, j'ai trouvé ça beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'on a mangé. Pourtant adepte de bon restaurante regardant pas forcément les prix. Je compare à votre premier concurrent de Meribel. Fantastic restaurant. The staff and chef were so accommodating. I contacted them in advance with my health related dietary restrictions, and they were so, so accommodating, making sure they offered dishes that suited my needs. I felt so well taken care of, it was the best dinner of our whole holiday....
