Chez briquette — Restaurant in Albi

Expensive and not good.

We went there bcuz of the Google ratings and we were so disappointed.

Food was average. Had the duck magret, cassoulet and burger. Nothing extraordinaire...even tasteless.

Brioche perdue for dessert was that dry not even eatable with the ice cream

Very high prices for nothing remarkable

Eventually, both waiters made some very disrespectful comments on the kids that were with us. One of the kids was crying for five mins so the waitress decided to tell us it was better for her to calm down bcuz they had some business to run and we were disturbing clients. On the other hand, the waiter said that our baby carrying chair was disturbing in the middle of the corridor.

We stumbled on "Chez Briquette" while checking out the cathedral and damn, what a find! The chef’s got serious skills. Everything was homemade, tasty as hell, and just hit the spot. En voilà un bon petit restaurant. Sans réservation, nous avons été reçu par une serveuse polyglotte , souriante et efficace. Un homme au contoir a demandé avec insistance à ma femme si elle était cliente du restaurant en guise de réponse à la question : " excusez moi pouvez vous m'indiquer où sont vos toilettes svp?" Heureusement que la serveuse qui nous a accueilli est venu en soutien à ma femme qui a pu aller se laver les mains avant le repas. Par la suite, je lui ai demandé si je pouvais avoir un peu plus de pain, que cela éviterai à la serveuse de se déplacer exprès. Il m'a alors répondu que j'avais déjà 8 bout de pain. Ce à quoi je lui ai répondu, on se connais pas, ça se voit, 8 tranches de pain pour un camembert rôti ca va faire juste. Il m'a alors déposé 2 bouts de plus. Bien évidemment je les ai tous mangés. Donc je conseille de venir avec sa propre baguette en fait. Merci aux 2 serveuses, celle des boissons , la brune, est drôle et pétillantes. Celle du repas , la blonde, ne manque pas d'humour et de bons conseils, que ce soit en anglais, en espagnol ou en italien même.
