A not too visible little restaurant in a little street usually means you won't be caught in a piège à touristes... The place looks rather recent, nicely styled and with an enjoyable view on the cathedral from the quiet terrace at the backside.

I had the €16.5 lunch menu. At that price I am happy if I end up with an honest plate of decent food... It certainly is an honest cuisine -the kitchen is more like the bar in a pub. From your table, you can see the chef and his busy aides work with a focus I only could dream of during my student days. The basic menu is executed in a surprisingly gastonomical fashion, with much attention to detail.

It's not one of those places where you feel at home and among family, but the staff is truly excellent. A lot of focus and no improvisation. I think this place turns like a clockwork on busy moments.

Certainly one of my best French gastronomical experiences at this price (+/- € 25 inc wine...

I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience—everything from the beautifully presented dishes to the warm and welcoming staff exceeded my expectations. The open kitchen is a fantastic touch, allowing diners to see the chefs at work in an immaculately clean space, which speaks volumes about the care and passion behind each dish.

After walking past this restaurant for nine months, I finally decided to step in, and I’m so glad I did. The flavors were incredible, the ambiance inviting, and the attention to detail remarkable. This visit was long overdue, but it certainly won’t be my last—I’ll definitely be back!
