We went to for a birthday dinner when visiting the city. The food was quite good, but the waiter forgot to bring the third wine pairing. When my partner brought it up as he paid the waiter just said “oh, yeah I forgot. Do you want a crémant now?”
No. The entire point is to get wines that pair with the actual food, not a throw away glass after the service! He never apologized, tried to take an incorrect portion off the bill, and seemed generally annoyed that we pointed out he forgot!
